Taylor made an incredibly difficult and frightening experience feel safe, comforting, and manageable. I am an 18-year-old female who was admitted with abdominal pain and bleeding following a D&C procedure. This was my first time ever being admitted to a hospital, and I was extremely scared, overwhelmed, and uncertain about what was happening.

Taylor took the time to explain everything she was doing, answered every question I had with patience and kindness, and never once made me feel like a burden. As someone who hopes to become a nurse myself, I was already nervous about being a patient. Taylor immediately connected with me over our shared passion for nursing, and our conversations became a source of comfort throughout my stay.

One thing that meant so much to me was how attentive she was to my emotional needs. After my father left for the night, I was scared to be alone. Even when she wasn’t required to, Taylor would stop by whenever she had a free moment just to check on me, talk with me, and make sure I was okay. Those small acts of kindness made an enormous difference during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life.

Taylor made me feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her compassion, empathy, and positivity never wavered. I have never been treated so kindly before. Having Taylor as my nurse was truly a breath of fresh air during a scary and painful experience.

She embodied everything nursing should be, and she is exactly the kind of nurse I aspire to become one day.

Thank you, Taylor, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
