Congratulations to Taylor Rowe, RN, Acute Care, for being the recipient of the 1st DAISY Award Winner for Wood County Hospital.

The DAISY Award is given to extraordinary nurses who demonstrate compassionate care. Taylor was nominated by a patient who was impacted by the professional and compassionate care she received during her hospitalization.  

The patient stated that Taylor “completely shifted the trajectory of my care. She didn‘t just see me as a patient; she saw me as a person. She took the time to really listen and understand what I was going through, and for the first time, I truly felt safe.”
