BSN Student Daisy Award Recipient This student was nominated by three fellow classmates.
Taylor not only excels academically, but is described as kind, attentive, positive, and full of joy. One nomination described her as a “hard worker who puts everything into the care of her patients and is helpful in class and a great peer to have in our cohort”.
An example of her leadership is during one of their emergency simulations, she stepped confidently into a leadership role, running the codes with clarity and calm, giving clear instructions, encouraging her peers, and leading the team effectively under pressure. Beyond nursing, Taylor is an exemplary Division I track and field student-athlete, balancing the demands of elite competition with the rigor of the UAB Undergraduate/Prelicensure program.
