Tavia always goes above and beyond for her triage patients. Specifically, today she felt a patient needed to go to the ER; while urging the patient to go, the patient was no longer audibly on the phone. Tavia became concerned and had her colleague call the patient and other contact numbers listed in the chart while staying on the line in case the patient was there. With no response from the patient or contacts in the chart, Tavia then called for a wellness check out of concern. The patient went to the ER to be evaluated. Tavia has such empathy for the patients, and it shows through every message or call.
