My 14-year-old daughter established care with this pediatrician's clinic today. My daughter is experiencing high levels of anxiety, especially when she needs to get shots and her blood drawn. And turns out she was due for one vaccine at this visit (her blood panel is due next).

Tassy was the RN who administered the shot today. All of the staff were extremely caring, professional, and supportive, but Tassy deserves this award!

As expected, my daughter started tearing up and bailing on getting the shot today, trying to postpone the whole event. In the past, her anxiety escalates to the point of screaming and crying, preventing the nurse from completing the visit.

Tassy and her assistant were so patient and calm. They were able to distract my daughter and calm her down. Finally, Tassy talked to her, waited patiently, engaged and connected with both of us, and finally administered the vaccine to a calm and happy teen.

She accomplished this in record time and with the most positive response I've ever seen.

My daughter does not want to go anywhere else but to this office, and if there are needles involved, Tassy is the one she will ask for.
