I had a very rough labor and delivery experience. Tabitha was my nurse during the final stretch. My health and my baby's health began to decline severely and quickly. Tabitha’s shift was ending, but because we had built a mutual trust, she stayed with me and my husband during an emergency c-section to provide us with comfort and care. She offered to take my husband's phone and take pictures of our baby after he was rushed off to NICU immediately after birth. She gave us comfort during a truly traumatizing situation. She kept a close eye on me throughout my entire labor and delivery and was crucial in the successful outcome of my healthy baby. I’m very grateful for her skills and attention to detail that kept both me and my child alive. She gave me a sense of hope and peace when I feared for my life and my baby’s. Her attention to detail got me into the OR before my baby’s health could decline any further. Her care and compassion made a traumatic experience better.
