Tabitha is a great listener. She takes the time to get to know the patients. She knows how to calm me down. She stands up for us. My roommate and I didn’t want to move rooms, and she made sure we stayed together. She’s funny and kind. She gets us orange juice very quickly! She makes me feel less different. She makes the whole unit glow. She’s the perfect example of someone who deserves this award. She shows up to work with a smile!

Every nurse and staff member has been really great; however, Tabitha stood out as someone who immediately took me under her wing, going above and beyond with her kindness and care. She brought me PJs, printed out color pages specific to my interests, and made me feel seen and heard.
