Tabitha is a very caring person, professional and knowledgeable at her job, and knows what her patients need at a time of crisis.
I had an allergic reaction, my body broke out in a rash, and I was very hot and dizzy. I started to have heart palpitations, chest heaviness. My heart rate went high, and the nurse who was with me called a rapid response code. Within minutes, my room was filled with doctors and nurses, all with a job to do, but for Tabitha, I was her concern. She saw how upset I was and called my daughter to come to the hospital to be with me. This was an intense moment, but I felt safe.

Well, the next morning, Tabitha came into my room to check on me. I had a small reaction again, but it was nothing. Later that day I had a very more serious reaction. I called for my nurse, but she was with another patient. I looked at the aide who came to my room and just told her to get Tabitha; I guess that was all it took. Before she even reached my room, she had already had the rapid response team with her ! My blood pressure went very high, along with my heart rate. This episode was a very scary situation for me; it was much worse than the first. She again took my phone and called my daughter to be with me at the hospital. She knew exactly what I needed and was ready for whatever it was . She will never understand that her holding my hand and looking into my eyes, telling me I was going to be ok, and what was happening to me and around me really did help because I was scared!

Tabitha is a very caring person, professional and knowledgeable at her job, and knows what her patients need at a time of crisis. I was later transferred into the cardiac unit, but before I left, she came into the room and gave me a hug and reassured me that I would be ok and was in great hands. Because of her, I believed that I would be. Because of her actions and her caring for me, I left the hospital feeling like I had a new daughter, Tabatha.
