She truly cared about the comfort she offered and was very understanding of my needs.
My nurse today was Sydney. She was amazing! The care and concern she offered was truly a blessing. She has a wonderful personality and a compassionate, gentle soul. She truly cared about the comfort she offered and was very understanding of my needs. It is rare these days to find anyone who actually cares. I hate to say that, and I hate that’s the way our world is today. However, Sydney provided more than just what her job entailed. She provided kindness, concern, care, compassion, and empathy. She was a light in a dark place. So I want to recognize her for the job that she does. I am sure she is the same with all her patients, as well as with her family, friends, and the public every day. In today’s society, as I have said, that is a rare gem to have and hold onto. Kudos to Sydney for being one of the best! She made my experience at Hillcrest Hospital a great one, and that will always be remembered. You are lucky to have her! And so was I!!

Our nurse, Sydney, is awesome! She explains everything, calms fears, and provides excellent care. Sydney is so knowledgeable and has an outstanding personality, making her the best nurse we have ever had. She needs to train others in compassion and care. She would be an excellent mentor to other nurses.

Sydney was my husband’s nurse in the ICU. While caring for him and other patients, she was also able to care for me. I was suffering from exhaustion and shock, and got sick while sitting by his bedside. She helped me clean up and had my son come pick me up so I could go home and rest. She was very gracious and showed true compassion throughout the whole ordeal. Thank you, Nurse Sydney, and the whole ICU team!
