The students at Liberty University's School of Nursing nominated Mrs. Sydney Everett to win this year's Nurse Educator Award. Here are a few things that students said about her:

"Mrs. Everett displays such a beautiful example of the character of Jesus! She extends grace and offers unconditional love to each person she meets, even when she is taking care of patients in the hospital. She judges no one and truly meets each person where they are."

Another student stated, "Mrs. Everett has taught me to judge no one, and to look at others in the way that Jesus made them. She's selfless, compassionate, extends grace, loves us unconditionally, and all while she keeps us straight. She can be strict, but she truly helped me become the best version of myself!
