Most of the nurses at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center were wonderful. However, one nurse stands out from the rest. Susie Amsden is out of this word Amazing! Her skill and knowledge combined with her ability to stay calm, educate, soothe, and heal as well as care for brand-new mothers, is simply outstanding!

As her shift was coming to an end I cried, hugged her, and just didn't want to let her go. Susie truly loves being a nurse.... she must! There's no other explanation for how incredibly good she is at this profession. Her positivity and expert insight gave me confidence and will empower me to soon leave this hospital and begin my journey as a mom. Banner is lucky to have her. Other young nurses speak of her not only as a friend, but a mentor. It's obvious that she is passing on her knowledge and passion for this career to the next generation of caretakers! Thank you, Susie! We loved you!
