I came into the ED via squad with a spot of vision loss in my left eye.

I must say that everyone I encountered there was amazing, from the triage nurse to the doctor, transport, CT scan, medical assistants, nurses, phlebotomy- everyone!

Susan was my ED nurse, and she made sure to answer all my questions, making sure I was comfortable at such a scary time. Because I was going to have a consult on the robot from OSU neuro, I wanted a warm wash cloth to wipe off all of my makeup; she took the time to get me one and make sure I got all traces of eye makeup off.

I needed to go to the restroom but was not allowed up; she brought me a bedside commode. She is a nurse with a compassionate heart, going above and beyond for her patients. As anxious as I was, Susan helped me remain calm in such a scary situation.

No one likes to be in a hospital emergency room, it is nurses like Susan that make you time there not so stressful. She treated me as though we had known one another forever. She also answered any questions my family member had as well.
