I would like to nominate Steve for the DAISY Award for the truly exceptional care he provided to my mom during her visit to the Emergency Department yesterday. From the moment he walked into the room, he made her feel comfortable and cared for. He joked with her, took the time to explain everything in a way she could easily understand, and treated her with patience and respect.

Steve consistently kept us updated on her test results and the plan of care, which helped ease so much of our worry. He made sure she always had what she needed and never let long periods go by without checking in on her. His attentiveness, communication, and warm personality made a stressful situation so much easier for both of us.

We are incredibly grateful for the compassion and professionalism Steve showed. He truly made a difference in my mom’s experience.
