After a literal roller coaster of 18 hours, Steve was the first person to show me sympathy and compassion since my unexpected arrival at this hospital. Just by being himself and his ability to recognize other human emotions, he helped me gain my composure back in a time where I was desperate for help.

Without that help I’m not sure how the day would have gone. All it takes is a simple “hello” and “I’m here to help if you need anything” from a special person, and that’s exactly what Steve did for me. In less than 5 minutes of his time, he helped me in a situation I will never forget. Seriously, Steve, thank you for your kindness during one of the strangest and worst days of my life.
