I am honored to commend Stephanie Ridley for her extraordinary clinical judgment and deep, unwavering compassion. As her clinical supervisor, I watched Stephanie provide exceptional care to a young client with complex medical needs while building a profound bond of trust with his grandmother, his primary caregiver.

During a shift where she noticed subtle, concerning changes in his status, Stephanie exercised sharp critical thinking and advocated fiercely for her patient by calling EMS to get him to the hospital. Tragically, after returning home, the client passed away the following week. Even though Stephanie was not working when the crisis occurred, his grandmother instinctively called Stephanie directly in her moment of deepest grief.

Without hesitation, Stephanie dropped everything and drove straight to the family’s home. She stayed by their side for hours, taking on whatever tasks she could to ease their burden, helping with logistics, comforting his grandmother, and serving as a calm, compassionate anchor during an unimaginable loss. Stephanie consistently delivers excellent clinical care with extraordinary kindness. Her dedication goes well beyond her job description, and she is truly deserving of this honor.
