I recently had a terrifying, life-changing experience when I was rushed to the E.R. and found out I was diabetic. I was confused, overwhelmed, and genuinely scared for my life. Amidst all the chaos, there was one nurse who truly stood out – someone I won’t forget.

From the moment Stephanie came in, she was calm, understanding, funny, and just plain real! She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with real-life experience. She made sure to spend the necessary time to provide me with all the resources and a few helpful tips to help me learn and accept this completely new lifestyle.

I’m now going to have to live surviving this diabetic episode! She literally made this okay and turned a very heavy situation into something lighthearted and easy to deal with and understand! It's not just her clinical skill (which was excellent), but her empathy and humanity. She made a devastating situation survivable – emotionally as well as physically. I will forever be grateful for her presence during this time. 

Nurses like Stephanie don’t just save lives – they change them! Thank you!!
