Stephanie Gale, RN

Stephanie was the perinatal bereavement coordinator during the stillbirth of our son, V, and I can honestly say she changed the course of our healing. From the moment we met her, she cared for my husband and me with extraordinary compassion, grace, and empathy. She helped us create precious memories with our son that we will cherish forever, gave us the space to grieve as his parents, and guided us through overwhelming tasks—including coordinating with the funeral home—when we could barely think through our heartbreak.

Her support did not end when we left the hospital. The grief support group she leads became a lifeline, connecting us with other bereaved parents who truly understood our pain. Through Stephanie, we found a community, hope, and light during the darkest time of our lives. Stephanie’s kindness, dedication, and unwavering compassion remind grieving families that they are not alone. She honors our babies with dignity and love while helping parents find the strength to keep moving forward. We will always be grateful for the profound impact she had on our family, and I cannot imagine anyone more deserving of the DAISY Award.
