I had a procedure. Stephanie is an excellent nurse. I arrived very nervous when I checked in for the procedure, and on top of that, I don't speak English, which made me even more nervous. My daughter came with me to help me translate, but it's not the same to hear the information translated by someone else as it is to hear it directly from the person who will be providing the care. When Stephanie arrived and told me she spoke Spanish, my anxiety level decreased. Then she calmed me down even more by explaining exactly what the doctor was going to do. She is very kind and attentive, always looking on the positive side. I know there are tablets to help nurses translate, but it's not the same. She is a very empathic nurse, and she made sure I was satisfied with the information she had provided. Everyone was very kind during my visit. Hopefully, the injections work, but if they don't and I have to go back, I hope Stephanie is there to help me.
