I am honored to nominate Stacey for the DAISY Award because she is, without a doubt, the best teacher I have ever had. From the very first day of Med-Surg 1, she created an environment where learning feels both engaging and achievable. She has a way of breaking down complex concepts so that they actually make sense, and she never makes anyone feel like their questions are unimportant. In fact, she encourages questions and discussions, always making sure we feel heard and supported.

What truly sets Stacey apart is how much she genuinely cares about her students. Even though she’s teaching five classes right now, she always makes us feel like a priority. She takes the time to ask for our opinions and learning preferences through surveys, making sure her teaching style fits our needs. She constantly encourages us, celebrates our progress, and reminds us that we are capable. She never makes us feel like she’s above us—she treats us with respect and kindness, making it clear that she wants to see us succeed. Stacey’s dedication, compassion, and unwavering support have made such a difference in my education. She doesn’t just teach—she inspires, uplifts, and believes in her students.
