A colleague shared this powerful nomination highlighting Stacey’s compassion, professionalism, and grace while providing support to the family through the care needs surrounding an 18‑week fetal loss. In a moment marked by profound sorrow, Stacey exemplified the very heart of nursing. She approached the situation with a gentle, reverent presence and treated the baby with the same dignity and care offered to any patient. Her hands moved with tenderness, and her calm presence created a space that honored the loss and brought comfort to everyone present.
