Spencer Lockwood, RN, BSN

We are seldom at a loss for words, but we just met someone who left us in awe of his approach to his job. His name is Spencer. He is dedicated to doing his best every minute of the hardest, most demanding work of serving people in the medical field.

He is relentless. His energy and attention to detail are unmatched. He is a teacher, a mentor for his fellow nurses who don't have the experience he has been fortunate to have, and he has capitalized on his ability to grasp new ways to be the best for his patients. He always puts the patient first, which is so refreshing!

Nothing is too much to ask for him to perform. He's cheerful, even when it's late after a full day. I believe it's because he loves what he has been chosen to do. My husband's case was made even more difficult because of his dialysis. It means so much extra work for the already overburdened nurse. He knew just what to do and performed it flawlessly.

All the patients lucky enough to have Spencer as their nurse are truly blessed. He certainly was an angel for us that night.
