I had just undergone an emergency C-section. My little boy was admitted to NICU, and he needed me to start expressing milk for his feeds. Although I was trying to express every 3 hours, nothing was coming out. I was feeling very dejected and stressed. Then this wonderful woman asked me how I was doing, and after hearing that I was struggling to express myself, she offered to help me. That's when she got on the floor on her knees and manually massaged my breast and collected every little drop in a syringe. She managed to get 2ml, which doesn’t seem like much, but after 2 days of nothing, it was absolutely amazing. She then assisted me again later that night and taught me how to do it myself in the future, too. Absolutely a lifesaver. Such a friendly and helpful individual who deserves the recognition. Very grateful to her.
