I am nominating Simone because the changes in our unit have been evident during her time here at Lankenau. She is a compassionate, patient leader who takes the time to meet staff where they are. She is approachable and goes above and beyond to help team members. Her positive attitude has changed the entire tone of our workplace. She is a key player in making Lank great again! Simone has changed the work environment landscape in the Main OR by being available to staff and other interprofessional partners. Simone leads by example and fosters leadership and accountability among her staff, all while encouraging them to commit daily to patient-centered care and to supporting one another. She is active in many MLH committees and represents LMC and MLH at National conferences. Simone embodies the MLH interprofessional PARTNERS model and is diligent in offering opportunities for her staff to become involved, growing nurse professionals for the future.
