My husband was seen in the ER for shortness of breath, was in A-Fib, and had CHF. The ER doctor wanted to ship him to another hospital, but no beds were available anywhere. We stayed in the ER until he was admitted to Mercy in the morning.

Sierra was on top of all of his needs, answered all of the family’s questions, and also made sure that we had anything we needed, i.e., water, coffee. RT placed him on BiPAP and his heart went back to regular rhythm by morning and with medications and bypass his breathing and oxygen saturations improved.

During the night, Sierra made my husband and family comfortable. We are all so thankful for the care he received and was able to be admitted to Mercy instead of being transferred elsewhere. They have full faith in the staff of Mercy, and the care they provide is above and beyond what we have had in larger hospitals.
