Shiela Ramos' efficient and compassionate patient care caught the eye of a physician, who nominated her for the DAISY award.
The timing of care was critical for one anxious and demanding patient admitted to 2-West with a number of needed procedures. Shiela, however, did not lose her composure over timing of the patient needs in fact, she shined. "Shiela was very efficient. She didn't lose her train of thought or cheerful composure despite the demands of her group. That is an awesome nurse you [Saint Agnes] has there. I appreciate the kind of care she gave to my patient. I owe a lot to her for her compassion and professionalism toward my patient."
