Sherrie has always strived to provide quality care for her patients. On this particular day, she provided a bed-bound patient with a soothing bed bath, shampoo, and styled the lady’s hair the way she liked it. She went above and beyond in making the person feel valued. This is a typical day for Sherrie.

She exhibits many Mercy service standards, including dignity, respect, charism, and charity, and shows hospitality in the manner she cares for people, treating them as individuals made in the image of God. Sherrie often buys clothing items for people or other articles that they need or want, as many of our patients arrive with no personal belongings. Many times, she has helped people by laundering their clothes for them as well.

Sherrie is important as a team player. She works quickly and efficiently to get the jobs done and is always willing and able to assist others. Sherrie deserves this DAISY award for her excellent care!
