Sheridan Sinnen, RN

I had just been admitted to the MBU. I am not from San Diego, and I didn’t have any family with me. I was incredibly scared and confused, as I had only been in residential treatment for a few days before coming here.

Yet, I had Sheridan Sinnen as my nurse that night. She made me feel safe and let me know that I was in good hands. She even talked to my parents while I was on the phone and explained everything to them.

When she saw that I didn’t have any belongings with me, she made sure to get me new clothes and basic toiletries, so I felt taken care of. She is incredibly kind, caring, funny, and encouraging. Since then, she has let me know that she requests to be my nurse, and if she is not, she will come visit me, give me daily affirmations, and offer encouragement.

All in all, Sheridan Sinnen is one of the kindest and most dedicated nurses on the unit. She will always go the extra mile to make sure everyone, not just her own patients, feels loved and cared for. Love this girl!
