I don't know where to begin.

This was my first experience with my cancer journey. I was sick and scared. Shelby was amazing, calm, and gentle. She never let me wait for anything I needed. She even went above and beyond to do little things for me that probably took valuable time out of her extremely busy day. But those little things would be just what I needed at the time when I was reaching the end of my strength.

She spent time discussing my pain and helped me figure out how to adjust times so that I could get the best benefit from them. I did not know how I could express just how much more valuable Shelby is than anything she is receiving. She is one of those rare nurses who has chosen nursing because she truly wants to make a difference in people's lives. She definitely made a difference in mine.

She has created a totally positive beginning to my journey through cancer. If this is the only thing I can do to give you some idea of how extremely valuable and just absolutely precious she is. I hope it helps you see what a gem she is.
