September 2026 Honoree
Sheila Gallets, RN
Sheila Gallets is a knowledgeable and compassionate Home Care RN Case Manager who takes pride in caring for her patients. One patient remained under her care for nearly three years following a stroke and later an amputation related to osteomyelitis. Throughout every challenge, Sheila ensured the patient felt supported and cared for. Sheila not only provided excellent nursing care but also went above and beyond emotionally. During the winter, she built a snowman outside the patient's window.
On another occasion, she brought flowers to brighten the patient's day. The patient later shared with another team member, "Sheila makes me feel like a person." Those simple acts of kindness demonstrate what makes Sheila exceptional. She helps patients feel valued, respected, and cared for far beyond their medical needs.

Thank you, Sheila, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
