I am honored to nominate Sheelu Joseph for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. She recently took a Director position on our unit and has successfully been leading the ICU team by demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities through unwavering commitment to the success of our organization. She consistently goes above and beyond in her effort to ensure that our team is productive, cohesive, and aligned with our mission and values. Sheelu provides clear guidance and support to the team. She encourages collaboration and communication among team members, fostering trust, respect, and a positive work environment for all employees.

Sheelu Joseph has taken the initiative to develop and implement innovative ideas and strategies in our organization. Sheelu Joseph successfully brought CRRT therapy to our ICU unit. The nursing team received proper support and training and is now successfully providing treatment to critically ill patients in our community. Sheelu Joseph is supporting the growth and development of her team. She is an invaluable asset to our organization.
