The award states they demonstrate excellence through their expertise and compassionate care. Shea absolutely nailed this. A and I had our first child, WD. Shea was our nurse from the morning as A went into heavy labor and was pushing around noon. Shea accompanied us the entire time coaching us through next steps, answering questions and then when it was gametime, she absolutely crushed it helping a long 3.5 hour push process. We were so thankful that, since her shift ended before the birth, she stayed an extra hour to keep coaching and ensured we had a safe, wonderful delivery. Shea made our first delivery absolutely amazing. I cannot write enough emails or explain how she went above and beyond the definition of this award. A was so thankful she stayed an extra hour past her shift since we were so comfortable and confident with her. Amazing. Thank you, Shea.
