My daughter was in the ICU after being in a motor vehicle accident. Shaylee was one of her nurses during this time. Shaylee was so kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and funny. She made my daughter feel at ease in a very scary situation. She was very patient and explained everything. She always had a smile. When my daughter was able to have liquids, she only liked the beef broth. Shaylee personally brought her beef broth when she got chicken broth on her tray. She calmed her fears when she had to undergo any procedures, such as sticks and pokes. Her attention to small details and willingness to go beyond what was required of her are valuable traits that are not often found anymore. She truly has a heart for her patients! Shaylee is very deserving of this award! We love her!
