He is attentive & responsive. I never had to worry when Shawn was on shift. I knew I was in good hands.
I would like to recognize Shawn Woods for his outstanding patient care during my stay at West Kendall Baptist. From the 1st day, he started to care for me, it was an outstanding experience. He understands what it means to be a nurse. This is his calling. He is compassionate & kind. He is attentive & responsive. I never had to worry when Shawn was on shift. I knew I was in good hands. I know Shawn deals with sick patients every day but he does not show any immunity to it. He shows up each day with a smile & positive demeanor, which made such a difference to me when I wasn’t in the best of spirits because of my illness. His positive energy radiated & helped to improve my spirit as well. He always checked on me & even came to check on me when I wasn’t assigned to him just to ask how my procedure went. That meant so much & shows he loves what he does. He is a top-notch professional & Baptist & all the patients are lucky to have him. Shawn, in case you ever doubted it, what you do matters. It mattered to me when I most needed it. Thank you for being you. Please don’t ever change!
