I have been in and out of hospitals for most of my life. I've never had a nurse as good as Shawn. He talked me into eating to get my strength up. He told me what my meds did and how important taking them the right way is. When I needed stuff, he always smiled and said, "No problem." He talked to me like a friend and made me laugh. ICU wasn't scary with him there.
