I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and in lots of pain, with suspicion that it's my gallbladder. Shaunda had extra patients, and even while taking them on because they were short-staffed, she went above and beyond for me. She made sure my meds were on time and never made me feel like a bother. During a very stressful time, while I was stepping back from my job, she comforted me and made sure I laughed and giggled even while in a lot of pain. Her kindness cheered me up and made me feel like I could get through what I had going on right now. I was so proud to have her as my nurse for the night. I wanted to nominate her for her great attitude, for listening to me after I felt like I wasn't heard all day, and for making me feel like what is going on will be temporary.
