She came onto shift in the middle of a stressful induction. She educated me through so many situations that I was nervous about, made sure my pain was under control, and tried to calm my nerves the best she could. She advocated so hard for my wishes to be respected during my induction process. My baby's heart rate started to decelerate closer to the end of my labor, and she was dedicated to figuring out the cause and calming my nerves all at the same time. If not for her, I would have never known my baby was in the birth canal, ready to deliver. I absolutely could not have done it without her. She deserves this. I am so sad she didn't get to meet Baby L, but I hope to see her again one day and show her the sweet baby she helped bring to this side.
