As a student nurse, Shannon has impacted her classmates by providing study guides and sharing excellent study skills with her peers. She is a student ambassador on campus, and she has gone into the classroom for our incoming students to introduce herself and offer her assistance to others. She has excellent rapport with the faculty and her peers. She is a natural leader and a great resource to her classmates. Her classmates and faculty describe her as caring and compassionate to patients, which is the epitome of a DAISY Award recipient.
