I brought our son in to be evaluated to rule out appendicitis. This would be his first time with a blood draw/IV or really anything serious medically. Shannon was wonderful. She talked him through everything, treated him with so much respect, and talked in a way our young child would understand and not be as nervous. I am also a nurse, and I was so impressed by her. Without a doubt, Shannon was the best nurse we had throughout this whole process of being transferred to Peyton Manning and Pediatric Surgery. She gave personalized and compassionate care, and it is something we will always remember and be so thankful for!
