My mother suffered a severe traumatic injury after being struck by a drunk driver. She was transferred to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital due to the severity of her condition. Our family arrived overwhelmed, scared, and uncertain about what the future would bring.

On our first day, we met Seth. At the same time, we learned heartbreaking news that my mother was paralyzed from the chest down and might never walk again. Seth stood beside our family with patience and empathy. He supported us emotionally while also providing excellent care to my mother.

Seth took time to answer our questions, explain what was happening, and ensure my mother remained comfortable and respected. His calm presence helped our family during a moment filled with fear and uncertainty.

My mother continues her recovery in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit. Through everything she has endured, she still says Seth is the best nurse she has ever had.
