I had the pleasure of being trained by the wonderful Selena during my not-so-easy transition from ER to Oncology. From day one, Miss Selena was wonderful and made me feel very welcome, and she always had great words of encouragement for me, even on the days I wasn't so sure this was for me.

Miss Selena's compassion is palpable across the board with her patients and with staff as well. She always has time, even when she herself is behind on tasks, to be a helping hand with staff as well as with her patients.

When patients have questions, and Selena is not sure of the answer, she does not stop until she finds it. She is a great example of what a nurse should be and even a better coworker. I hope to become half the nurse Selena is one day.
