Scarlett cared for our baby O during his time in the CICU. Because of his severe heart condition, O was eventually transitioned to comfort care. He was with us for only one precious week, and we are deeply grateful that Scarlett was part of his journey. She was with us for four shifts, but in that short time, she left a lasting impact on our hearts.

While we were blessed with many wonderful nurses, Scarlett’s kindness and compassion stood out in a very special way. She was gentle not only with O, but also with us as we faced the heartbreaking reality of losing our son. Scarlett made sure that O felt safe and loved, and she also gave us the gift of meaningful moments with him. She went above and beyond to help us bond with our baby in every way we could before his passing. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and deep care touched our family forever. Knowing O was in her hands brings us peace in our grief, and we will always be thankful for the love she showed all of us.
