I wanted to show compassion and recognition to my Charge Nurse.
Since the first day I've been in this department, she has always helped me and taught me everything I know. As a transitioning RN, I am who I am today because of her. She puts her staff members before herself and has always been present whenever a situation arises. She's extremely competent in the task and always helps every staff member on the unit, no matter how minimal the task is.
The unit runs smoothly with her as the Charge Nurse, and I am confident that this unit is a better version every day because she is here.
