My wife was admitted to Walnut Creek Hospital with a broken femur. She endured four agonizing days without proper pain management, as the nurses struggled to handle her injured leg correctly, frequently moving it in ways that caused excruciating pain. It was a distressing and frustrating experience until we arrived at Kaiser South San Francisco, where we were met by Sareena Zeidan.
From the moment we entered the unit, Sareena’s warmth, empathy, and professionalism were evident. She immediately took the time to understand my wife's condition, asked insightful questions about her medications, and promptly ensured that she received everything she needed, whether it was pain relief, proper bed setup, or even accommodations for me to stay by her side.
Unlike the prior experience, Sareena’s clinical expertise was exceptional. She knew exactly how to move her fractured leg with skill and precision, minimizing pain instead of exacerbating it. The difference in care was night and day.
Sareena anticipated every need with compassion and attention to detail, adjusting the bed for maximum comfort, setting up her Purwick properly to prevent leakage, arranging pillows and warm blankets, and ensuring that she could reposition safely and comfortably instead of expecting her to struggle through it alone.
Throughout my wife's four-day stay before and after surgery, Sareena remained a constant presence of kindness, reassurance, and excellence. As a husband watching my wife endure so much pain and uncertainty, it was an immense relief to see her finally receive the level of care she deserved. Sareena’s dedication didn’t just comfort my wife; it also reassured me that she was in the best possible hands.
