I do not remember much of what happened in post-op since I was still pretty woozy, but what really stood out to me later was how well-prepared my partner was to take care of me once we got home. When I asked how he knew exactly what to do, he told me that my nurse had sat down with him and thoroughly explained everything in a way he could understand. Sarah took the time to answer all of his questions and made sure he felt confident before we left. I do vividly remember my throat feeling sore, and before I even said anything, my nurse already had a drink ready for me that immediately helped. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we both felt supported and ready for recovery at home.
