My father had a heart attack and was transferred to MU Hospital, where he received not only life-saving care but the best care we could have ever asked for. From the very first shift as his nurse, Sarah made each and every one of us feel like she was part of the family. The care she provided shift after shift was truly remarkable. She constantly asked Dad if there was anything she could get him, and made sure he was doing as well as possible at all times. That level of care extended beyond just my Dad. She repeatedly asked the family if there was anything she could do for us, if we had any questions, and if we were doing okay. Being in situations like this is the worst nightmare for most, but Sarah truly is a blessing, and we would not be where we are without her and her unbelievable care. Even on the scariest of days during his time there, seeing Sarah and knowing Dad was being cared for by her brought a level of peace and comfort we will forever be grateful for.
