One of Sarah’s most compassionate acts was facilitating rooming in for the baby, which provided invaluable comfort to her while she was intubated and in the ICU. Knowing her child was nearby helped my daughter remain calm and focused on recovery.

Sarah even advocated for patient housing to be arranged to keep the mother and baby from being separated. That was invaluable to her, her baby, and her partner.
