This small gesture by Sarah, made B's entire life. She has the picture and note hanging in her bedroom and talks about it every single day.
Sarah is absolutely an Extraordinary Nurse. My 4-year-old, B, came to visit her newborn sister, M, two days after her surgery (at 40 hours old). My husband and I told Sarah how excited B was to meet her sister for the first time. We showed up with B during visiting hours and Sarah had made a craft for B from M. It was a picture of M wearing the bracelet that B made for M with a special note about how much M loves the bracelet. This small gesture by Sarah, made B's entire life. She has the picture and note hanging in her bedroom and talks about it every single day. M is still in the NICU and we aren't sure when she will come home, but having the craft from M and Sarah is making the time go by a little easier for B.

Sarah has done SEVERAL things that have made my husband and me feel so much more comfortable about having a baby in the NICU. She is the most caring and compassionate person I've ever met. She truly cares about each of the babies she's in charge of for the day. We were lucky enough to have Sarah as our nurse for M for almost a week straight. She is on vacation now [when this was written] but we wish she could have stayed with us for our entire stay in the NICU. We will forever be grateful for Sarah and the love and care she has shown to not only our daughter in the NICU but for us as well.
