My husband was admitted early in the AM where he first met Sarah. Before I arrived, we talked on the phone, and he couldn't stop talking about his great little nurse. When I arrived, as soon as I said who I was, she was comforting. She answered all of our questions and concerns and helped us by telling us about her father and how he recovered from the same procedure my husband was about to have. She hugged me when I was defeated, and she cheered us on when we needed it. She got him outside for walks when he needed the sunshine and fresh air. On the day of his surgery, she came down to check on him and I, gave me a big hug and said what a pleasure it was treating him and taking care of him, and promised to check in when she returned to work. This young lady was truly a godsend. We will never forget her kindness and know she will go far in her profession. Thank you, Sarah, for everything.
