"I had the pleasure of precepting Sarah Pacheco, a DNP student who exemplifies the qualities of an extraordinary nurse and future leader in healthcare. Throughout her clinical rotation, she consistently demonstrated compassion, intelligence, and professionalism beyond her level of training.

From day one, Sarah stood out for her warm and approachable demeanor. She easily developed rapport with patients, putting them at ease through genuine conversation, active listening, and respectful care. Her kindness and empathy were evident in every interaction, whether she was conducting an assessment, delivering patient education, or simply sitting with someone who needed support.

Academically and clinically, she is an active and eager learner.  Sarah asked thoughtful, insightful questions that reflected not only curiosity, but also a deep desire to provide the best possible care. Her assessments were thorough and accurate, and she demonstrated strong clinical reasoning. She consistently went above and beyond in preparing for her days and seeking feedback to grow.

It’s rare to encounter a student who blends clinical excellence, kindness, and professional presence so seamlessly. Sarah is the kind of nurse patients remember and the kind of colleague every team wants.
