Sarah has been so helpful during my stay here. She works so hard to be here for all of us and to help all of us as much as humanly possible. She was the only nurse on the Adult Unit for one of her day shifts, which is just bizarre because she handled it so well despite how hard the job is when it is fully staffed. She is always doing great work, and it is so apparent when talking with her or simply being in the same room as her. She cares so much about all of us.

Feeling that support, feeling cared for, it is so important for us in here, and I hope she knows how much of an input she has on us. I am sure that especially me, I was having a particularly hard time one day. I was feeling pretty panicked and worried. I started to cry a bit, and I had been working on asking for help to talk to someone. Still hesitant, until I remembered Sarah with her care, concern, and support. I finally worked up the courage and found her and asked if we could talk, and Sarah walked me into the conference room and calmed me down while having a long conversation. She intentionally reminded me of my worth and value. We are all very lucky to have her as our nurse!
